We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* The creation, analysis and reporting of financial information on a GAAP basis to support both management decision making and/or communication to internal or external stakeholders as well as maintenance of accounting and internal control related policies. The candidate will be performing month end close processes, preparing reconciliations, performing assignments requiring analytical and technical skills as well as subject matter expert for specific processes. The candidate must be able to encourage teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness, and be resourceful to successfully adapt to change. Prepare accounting entries posted to the general ledger to ensure proper accounting treatment per GAAP and appropriate expense allocation methodology is followed. Perform required review and interpret accounting/ financial reports and propose necessary changes to management and other business teams to ensure proper accounting approach and policy is applied. Compile and distribute financial statements and related information, including completion of various quarterly reporting requirements. Prepare account reconciliations with ability to data mine, summarize transactions in concise manner and also supporting financial statement schedules. Provide information and assistance to support various audits. Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations. Assist in the fulfillment of the Company's internal and external financial reporting obligations, internal control objectives and financial system design and operation. Able to independently identify problems, communicate to manager and execute corrective action. Verifying accuracy of the general ledger to be able to effectively communicate results to management. Perform timely variance analysis for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts Assist with ad hoc projects and requests from key business stakeholders across the Finance organization and be able to communicate effectively with diverse audience. *Required Qualifications* * 2+ years of knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) * 2+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis *Preferred Qualifications* * Prior experience in process improvement and simplification * Analytical skills * Problem solving skills * Attention to detail *Education* * Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $43,700.00 - $107,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
