The Overton Brook VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, Endocrinologist. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and exceptional health of our Veterans. The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is fully dedicated to providing top-quality medical care by serving and honoring America's Veterans.

Highlights of this position include:

  • Competitive Starting Salary $230,000 - $275,000
  • Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Occasional call on weekends
  • Inpatients and outpatients health care management of assigned veteran patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies.
  • Ordering consultation and referrals for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Patient follow-up, as appropriate.
  • Health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Patient, family, and staff education and counseling.
  • Clinical research (must have separate research approval).
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
  • Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.

Preferred:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in one or more of the following: Endocrine Disease, Internal Medicine.
