A well-established (1967) general dermatology practice in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is seeking a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon to replace our excellent colleague who has relocated. We are a comprehensive practice with general medical/surgical dermatology, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, contact dermatitis patch testing and some cosmetic services. The Mohs component of the practice has been steadily built over the last 10 years and the incoming surgeon can expect a busy caseload from day one.
The geographic location is ideal. The local town and surrounding counties form a metropolitan area of > 140,000 which continues to grow at nearly 1% per year. Public schools rank above the state average and in-state higher education is among the best in the nation. Outdoor amenities abound: hiking, climbing, camping, canoeing, trekking, etc., yet Washington DC and Baltimore, Md are both less than two hours away.
