Job Desription: Provides comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing functions and provides goaloriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential. Assists leaders with training, orientation and performance review for Speech Therapists. Provides community and hospital staff training on Speech Therapy.Job Requirements
Education: Masters Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Experience: Two or more years of progressively more responsible work in the field of Speech Pathology.
License/Certification: Nevada State Licensure as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA, CCC-SLP certifications or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.
Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
