Description

As a CT Technologist in our privately-owned Ear, Nose and Throat office, you will operate a
computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce images of the patient's head and neck area for diagnostic purposes. Our goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to every patient and you'll play an integral role in that process by guiding patients through the exam steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding the exam procedures. You will also provide technical support to CT services, assuring that services are provided within professional standards and with excellent customer service. We hope to create a positive experience for every customer by providing a friendly, efficient, and comprehensive exam the first time.

Shifts will only be M-F, day shift. No weekends, nights, or major holidays.

We do have three offices so there will potentially be some travel between for coverage as needed in combination with other technologists.

Job Duties Include:

  • Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on the head and neck area as ordered for physician use in the diagnosing and treatment of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients prior to exams for any precautions or contradictions, including BUN/Creatinine lab draws for contrast as indicated.
  • Explain and prepares patients for CT procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed/directed by CT Manager
  • Maintain positive attitude and working relationships with colleagues, physicians, MAs, front desk, and other staff
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
  • Accurately maintains patient records within EHR
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
  • Assist with maintaining an updated CT protocol manual and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory as necessary

Salary: From $30.00/hour
