Description
The Employee Health Coordinator is a Nurse who assists the Employee Health Department by providing support to employees, contract employees and non-employee groups. The EH Coordinator will utilize established protocols and current standards of care to meet the health care needs of the employee population.
Basic Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational/Professional Nurse licensure
- 1+ year acute care nursing
- 1+ year experience in Employee Health or Medical Office setting preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), required
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
Essential Job Functions
- Completes Employee Health duties per organization policy and department protocols
- Performs new hire assessment and immunization review
- Order, review and follow up of new hire labs
- Maintains ReadySet Employee Health software system to support complete and accurate employee health records
- Monitors employee work-related illness and injuries
- Perform communicable disease exposure follow up
- Performs bloodborne pathogen exposure assessment, treatment, and follow-up
- Participates in preventive screening and surveillance programs (TB testing, influenza, COVID-19, and other appropriate immunizations)
- Maintains and ensures confidentiality of patient information and medical records
- Attention to detail, information accuracy and service excellence
Other Job Functions
- Attend staff meetings or other company meetings as required
- Ability to work off-hours when required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
