Emory at Eagles Landing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team at our clinic in Stockbridge. Our Primary Care APP's focus on a true collaborative patient-provider partnership and make achieving patient health goals a top priority.

In this role the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of specific Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant (PA). Prior experience managing a patient panel and running independent clinic is required in this role.

Our Physician Assistants are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare integrated academic health care system. Some highlights of joining the Emory Healthcare team:

• Base Salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year depending upon years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Position is eligible for annual APP incentive plan.

Job Description:

• Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
• Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
• Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
• Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Currently certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
• BLS issued from the American Heart Association is required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
