Job Summary:
Supervises staff and oversees daily operations of the CT Scanning Department. Provides patient services using the CT imaging modality. Performs CT scans at a technical level. EHMC employees throughout the Medical Center will use behaviors and interpersonal communication styles that are appropriate for a hospital environment and demonstrate courtesy, dignity and respect. G.R.E.A.T will be used for all patient interactions to enhance the patient experience

Hours:8a-4p, Mon-Fri - must be flexible to accomodate needs of department

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a CT technologist.

  • Must have prior supervisory experience in diagnostic imaging

  • Must be able to travel to all off-site practices

  • Must possess communication and leadership skills including organization and planning skills.

  • Demonstrates minimum behaviors which exemplify Standards for Service Excellence.

  • Experience creating protocols for care

  • Experience establishing quality measures

  • Knowledge of ACR accreditation and department of environmental health standards

  • Establish benchmarks for performance of staff

  • Prior experience working closely with providers

 

Education Requirements:

  • Must have B.S. degree.

 

License/Certification/Registry:

  • Must be CT certified.

  • Must be ARRT certified and hold current NJ State License.

  • Maintains CPR certification.
