Description
One of the largest healthcare systems in Connecticut is adding an Infectious Disease physician to our western Connecticut location.
About the Position
- 100% Infectious Disease with a mix of both inpatient and outpatient
- Inpatient consultations are at a 109-bed, general acute care community hospital that serves as a regional health care resource for 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut.
- Outpatient consultation including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- Assist with activities of Infection Prevention and the Hospital Epidemiology programs
- Assist with activities of Antimicrobial Stewardship
- System-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues that meet monthly
- Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients
- Shared call with other ID physicians
- Employed position with a medical group of more than 600 Providers
- EPIC EMR
- High base salary with wRVU incentives
