Description

The Non- Routine Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned project throughout its life cycle. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts field walk down with operations, lead planners and contractors for scope development.
  • Effectively communicates with lead planners and schedulers to build accurate schedules depending on the size and complexity of the project.
  • Review and validate quotes received from contractors.
  • Create SF-20 job plans for their assigned projects.
  • Communicates with non-routine management, cost team and material purchasers to build accurate estimates for their assigned projects.
  • Assure all materials and equipment are available prior to scheduling the work to be performed. 
  • Schedule and host meetings related to their assigned projects.
  • Provide job status updates in person, zoom or email.
  • Assist with removing roadblocks for the lead planners and contractors in the field.
  • Host and attend project meetings and lessons learned meetings as needed.  
  • Will interact with maintenance operations, reliability, field engineering department as well as other departments.
  • Maintain a collaborative, clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of the non-routine department.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. 
  • 7 years maintenance or Turnaround experience in a natural gas processing/fractionation plant, petrochemical plant, gas gathering or transmission, or refinery is required.  
  • Have or develop a broad knowledge of administrative operating procedures to effectively comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Specific training and/or experience in computer use including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and maintenance management software is essential.    
  • Knowledge of planning/scheduling software preferred.
  • Technical certification or associate degree or equivalent training in a process or mechanical environment or energy related field preferred.  
  • Light lifting, squatting, and climbing in an industrial setting.  
  • Proficiency required in general computer use including word processing, spreadsheets, and email. 
  • Experience using maintenance management software preferred.    
  • Must have effective organizational skills. 
  • Must be a team player that interacts effectively with co-workers in a group or in independent cooperative activities. 
  • Must possess excellent communications skills and have a desire to be a part of a work group that strives for excellence in service to customers and the company.
  • Must be accountable and self-driven to learn and continuously strive for improvement.
