BC/BE Interventional/Invasive Cardiologist is needed for a well-established busy full full-service cardiovascular group practice associated with a large multihospital Health System.
The practice includes 4 interventional, 1 non-invasive, and 1 EP as well as 5 mid-level providers. The need is due to the expansion of the services and referral base.
Opportunity for academic affiliation with Medical School and participation in GME Residency and Cardiology Fellowship program.
Generous base salary plus productivity-based incentive bonuses with excellent starting income potential of 500K plus. The comprehensive benefits package includes a sign-in bonus, malpractice and health insurance; 5 weeks of vacation and CME; CME expense allowance; 401K retirement plan; relocation allowance; and professional licensing and dues. Partnership track after 2nd year.
The general call schedule is 1:4. Weekend call schedule is 1:6.
The practice has all noninvasive modalities as well as an invasive vascular lab and a Vein clinic. Three satellite clinics are in nearby areas.
The main hospital is 5 minutes away from the main office and it has 800 beds with one of the busiest ERs in the nation. The health system serves a population of more than 700K.
The metropolitan area is located in southeastern NC on I-95. The warm weather year-round allows plenty of outdoor activities. Atlantic beaches are 2 hours away and the Blue Ridge Mountains are 4 hours away for a weekend gate away. Excellent public and private schools and nearby well-known state universities (UNC and Duke).
