As a Loan Disbursements Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to represent First Commonwealth Bank in a positive, professional, and personal manner while coordinating tasks necessary in being the key support role for preparing and coordinating loan documents within the government mandated time frame.  Coordinates the production and remittance of error free loan disclosures in a timely manner; communicates with Loan Processing and Underwriting on pending closing issues.  Ensures closed loan files are complete and accurate, while adhering to lending policy.  Resolves discrepancies, ensures loans updated accurately to core system or applicable interface.  Coordinates the disbursement of funds on all closed loans accurately and according to government mandated time frames, following through on all disbursements to accurate and complete resolution.  Completes the filing of mortgages for all real estate secured loans with applicable county.  Processes loan maintenance as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Acts as key role in preparing and coordinating error free loan disclosures within the government mandated time frames.

2. Ensures closed loan files are examined for completeness and accuracy, adhering to lending policy. Resolves discrepancies as needed and validate loans are updated to core system accurately.

3. Oversees the disbursement of funds on all closed loans accurately, according to government mandated time frames, and according to the Loan Disbursement Request and Authorization form.  Provides written instruction for each disbursement, where needed, to ensure customer trade lines and mortgage/liens are satisfied per loan requirements. Follows through on all disbursements to accurate and complete resolution.   

4. Assists in training new employees, developing and maintaining procedural manuals, assures work quality, and ensure cooperation within department.

5. Coordinates the filing of mortgages for all real estate secured loans with applicable county. Perform appropriate follow-up on missing or erroneous items so that a clean and error free file is presented to LIFT.

6. Ensures the accurate completion of daily maintenance on assigned loan accounts.

7. Coordinates the inflow of the paper mail in a timely manner.

8. Handles requests for assistance concerning loan documentation and disbursements.

9. Serves as a liaison between Loan Processing, Financial Solutions Centers and the Underwriting officers to assist in the resolution of closing or disbursement issues.

10. Maintains working knowledge of Lending Policy and Government Lending Regulations utilizing Regulatory University and Compliance seminars and workshops.

11. Examines the closing files for adherence to Bank Lending Policy and Lending Regulations. 

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two (4) years of directly related experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required.   

3. Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills, analytical and mathematical sills.  Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company utilized systems is required.
