Motion Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an EHS Facility Manager located in Woerden & Hoogeveen, Netherlands.

Reporting to the General Manager, the EHS Facility Manager role involves responsibility for developing, maintaining and monitoring environmental and safety policies to ensure compliance with regulations in the field of Health Safety and Environment (HSE). Main goal is to work accident-free and healthy within the company. Also responsible for making sure that an appropriate, responsive, high quality and safe facility service is provided for the site. Drives continuous improvement and keeps a controlled overview of all aspects of facilities management.

What a typical day looks like:

• Initiating and implementing HSE policies and guidelines
• Internal consultant for the company in the areas of ergonomics, hazardous substances, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety.
• Consults with all departments regarding equipment design and use, fire prevention and safety programs.
• Examines plans and specifications for new and existing machinery and equipment to determine whether all safety measures are incorporated.
• Visits factory to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identifies and defines requirements for safety, clothing and equipment, and design guides the installation of safety equipment on machines.

• Responsible for facility management, maintenance and cleaning of the in- and outside of the building, including managing (small) construction projects.
• Improves efficiency by analysing and standardizing various facility procedures.
• Analyses and improves systems including and not limited to EV chargers, climate control, cabling, lighting, etc.
• Coordinates maintenance and cleaning personnel working in the facility.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor level in HSE related field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of HSE laws and regulations
• Experience in initiating and implementing HSE policies and guidelines
• Experience in a technical production environment required and in the metal industry is an advantage
• Able to motivate and influence people in a positive way
• Experience Facility Management related field is an advantage
• Knowledge of or interested in energy management and sustainability
• Service and problem solving oriented
• Excellent communicator and persuasive
• Dutch and English in speaking and writing
• Dutch car driver license and willing and able to travel between the locations
