Our new colleagues will be responsible to build-up and lead a team of embedded software tester for the next generation software together with our experienced colleagues from Germany, Asia and North America.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work with the customer and design team to understand product requirements
• Interpret product specifications and documentation
• Understand software architecture of product
• Work closely with Design Engineers to understand product functionality
• Foster and grow the software test team and coordinate internal and external team members
• Support test automation and present test results to internal and external stakeholders
• Evaluate and roll-out new test processes, procedures, and tools

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• University degree - preferably computer science
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an embedded software tester in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of standard test tools such as Canoe, VectorCast and VTStudio
• Experience in software development in C# or CAPL
• Strong technical understanding skills (systematic approach, recognize dependencies, weaknesses, and risks)
• Fluent English knowledge in written and spoken form

We consider the following experiences as a plus:

• Experience in team coordination
• ISTQB Certification
• Software testing processes such as defined in Automotive SPICE
