To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Associate Consultant - IT in Coimbatore.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for Configuration management.
• Responsible for backend support activities inclusive in java scripting.
• Responsible to provide support to users of Polarion, helping them troubleshoot issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on best practices.
• Responsible for maintaining the health and performance of the Polarion instances.
• Responsible to be involved in training users on how to use Polarion effectively and efficiently. They may also contribute to documentation, creating guides and tutorials for users and administrators.
• Responsible for  API module that allows developers to extend its functionality through custom plugins. Developers may create plugins to automate tasks, integrate with external systems, or enhance existing features within Polarion.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• 2+ years of experience in both the development support and application support. The person should be a blend of support and development. Experience with configuration and integration of ALM, PDM and various design tools: Polarion, Windchill, Jira, Bitbucket etc.
• Develop and implement processes to operationalize and improve the Support function.
• Should have an excellent Scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Velocity Script) and knowing the Velocity scripting will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of MSSQL DB, query optimizations, trouble shooting and should be able to generate reports
• Hands-on experience with version control software like SVN or Git 
• Analyzing application logs and Application integrations
• Experience on any monitoring tool
• Knowledge and experience in supporting large scale client facing applications and online platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL ITSM best practices (i.e. Service Transition, Incident, Change and Problem Management) and ITSM toolsets
• You will apply your analytical and problem-solving skills in researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to complex application L1-L2-L3 support issues.
• Should have an excellent communication skill and able to coordinate with business team across different regions
• Should be ready to work on any shifts and flexible in the timings
• Knowledge in the Polarion application with experience in Automotive, Design & manufacturing industry is mandatory.
