Job Summary

Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a TestArchitect/Release Train Engineer located in Woerden, Netherlands.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Testing (newly) developed software on set requirements. Analyses results.
  • Develops new test strategies, increased test coverage and automated test systems (e.g. by developing code for tests). Maintains and upgrades test environments.
  • Evaluates test criteria and quantify severity of failure. Defines logical additional test requirements to gain know-how on product quality.
  • Develops systems to store results data. Documents results and results analysis to explain failure and failures circumstances. Liaises closely with the development team to improve our products.
  • Uses know-how on testing, product quality and context of use of products to develop additional tests and test criteria.
  • Provide support to field/factory issues for root cause analyses of the existing product portfolio.
  • Engages in versatile testing. Coordinates test activities with remotely located testers.
  • Liaises closely with project teams provide input for future development.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Minimum BSc degree
  • Demonstrated years of related experience
  • ISQTB or equivalent certified
  • Software related:
    • Knowledge Python and basic understanding of C and C++, LABVIEW or alike
    • Knowledge of communication busses as LIN, CAN, SPI, I2C
  • Hardware related:
    • Ability to build test environments including HIL test environments
    • Basic understanding electronic component and electronic designs
  • Ability to work with measurement equipment like e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyser, function generator), etc.
  • Familiar with V-model based development processes and Scrum. Scrum/Agile awareness
  • Time management and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
  • English in word and writing, additional languages are an advantage
  • Experience with ASPICE, Functional Safety and Cyber Security is more than an
  • advantage
