Job Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner your main responsibility is to virtually examine, diagnose and decide treatment for all patients, prescribe medication and issue referrals if necessary. Telehealth experience preferred but not required.
(Job Responsibilities)
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients seeking medical care.
- You will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered virtual care and consultations.
- You will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, conduct virtual physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education and counseling.
- You will also use telehealth technology and software to review medical histories, conduct medical consultations, and schedule follow-up appointments.
(Qualifications)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner or equivalent
- Experience providing virtual care or telehealth services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a virtual team environment and provide empathetic patient-centered care
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in the use of telehealth technology and software
- Familiarity with primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management
