Gila Valley Clinic is a Rural Health Clinic seeking a family physician to practice Family Medicine with optional Obstetrics in sunny southeastern-Arizona. Providers enjoy a supportive work environment, state-of-the-art expanding facility, medical scribes, an intuitive EHR, and a diverse patient and payor mix. Student loan repayment is readily available.

Gila Valley Clinic is a physician-owned practice located in the growing community of Safford, Arizona, where it has been thriving for over 40 years, and achieved Rural Health Clinic designation in 2019. Currently employed are 4 family physicians who practice obstetrics, 1 family physician who does not do obstetrical care, 2 pediatricians, 4 nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, and a 2 licensed professional counselors. The practice's goal is to provide comprehensive primary care to the residents of Graham County (population 50,000) and vicinity. Medical students and residents rotate with our providers nearly every week of the year as it is a coveted site at which to learn family medicine.

The physician work schedule is 4 clinic days per week, call is 1 in 4 (can be taken from home), allowing plenty of time off to enjoy the beautiful area with lots of outdoor opportunities as well as an abundance of community activities to keep children and adults busy. Safford is less than one day's drive to the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, San Diego, and beaches in Mexico. Newly graduated residents are welcome.
