We are seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaision to work PRN/As Needed on our Inpatient Rehab unit. This new, state of the art rehab unit is part of a Level I Trauma Center. Shifts will be variable filling in for vacation and includes a weekend rotation. The liaison acts as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources and inpatient rehabilitation operations. Responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. Ensures appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening in collaboration with the Director. Primary responsible party focused on moving appropriate candidates into inpatient rehabilitation at the appropriate times.


Qualifications

You should have:
  • Licensed as a registered nurse or therapy professional (PT, OT, SLP) in the state of South Carolina
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical care experience; Effective communication skills; both orally and written, with flexible interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information within all levels of the organization.
