Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Academic Endocrinologist to join our growing health network. The successful candidate will become part of a vibrant practice, serving patients in New Jersey and the surrounding Tri State areas. Opportunity Highlights
- Serve as the full time clinician in the division of endocrinology to provide consultative services in general endocrinology and diabetes.
- Assist in developing and implementing programs for for medical management of osteoporosis and pituitary disorders
- Participate in core educational activities including lectures and didactic sessions for medical students, residents and fellows.
- Participate as supervising attending and facilitator for the endocrine fellowship program.
- Participate in quality improvement measures to ensure that the highest quality care is being provided to patients.
- Serve as a mentor for students, residents and fellows.
- Develop personal academic scholarship activities in areas that augment the ongoing clinical needs and mission of the division.
- Join a dynamic and vibrant endocrine practice within a network of experienced physicians, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.
- Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Requirements Include
- D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Current state medical license in good standing with the medical board
- Board Certification Endocrinology
- Academic accomplishments that would merit the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor in the School of Medicine.
- Excellent clinical, teaching and mentoring skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
