Opportunity Information
- Neurosurgical ICU: 13 bed ICU: Stroke, ? Night shift NP position
- Under the direction and supervision of the Neurointensivist the critical care NP manages a variety of patients in the critical care setting. He/She serves as an advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team. The critical care NP provides direct and indirect patient care optimizing patient safety to a patient population consisting of, but not limited to patients with stroke, cerebral edema, brain tumors, and neurosurgical interventions.
- Successful completion of an approved ACNP or Adult NP program
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- Master's degree
- New Jersey Advanced Practice License and NJ Registered Nurse License
