Opportunity Information
- Neurosurgical ICU: 13 bed ICU: Stroke, ? Night shift PA position
- Under the direction and supervision of the Neurointensivist the critical care PA manages a variety of patients in the critical care setting. He/She serves as an advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team. The critical care PA provides direct and indirect patient care optimizing patient safety to a patient population consisting of, but not limited to patients with stroke, cerebral edema, brain tumors, and neurosurgical interventions.
- Successful completion of a physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
- Master's degree
- New Jersey Physician Assistant License
