The Pharmacy Assistant functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and performs all of the essential generic job functions as listed below.
The goal of our Pharmacy Assistant position is to work in the pharmacy while obtaining PTCB certification.
The Pharmacy Assistant must be available every other weekend and will have a rotating schedule during the week. The teammember will work 2 days one week and 3 days the next week. The shift is flexible (day or evening). Additionally, the Pharamacy Assistant will enroll at a local college to earn PTCB Certification. Tuition reimbursement available for Pharmacy Assistant earning PTCB.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Previous hospital experience. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Pharmacy Technician License.
