Description

The DC Facilities Coordinator will report to the Sr. Manager of Facilities. The coordinator will support and partner with our vendors and onsite team to support the repair and maintenance needs of our DC.  Responsible for the overall asset management, work planning, and spare part inventory using Manager Plus software at a HFT distribution center.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs spare parts inventory management and auditing on a regular basis; publishes weekly spare part cycle count results to the facilities management team.
  • Provides software trainings to end users and new staff members; serves as liaison for problem solving and escalation. Be able to coach and educate staff on the Manager Plus functions and best practices for performing tasks.
  • Responsible for work order flow for Distribution Center work requests.
  • Manages work orders in the system, ensure proper creation, planning, update and closure of work orders.
  • Performs regular data analysis on parts/assets and recommend software enhancements and process changes.
  • Measures and publish facilities KPI metrics to the management team; interpret data and recommend findings.
  • Participates in Manager Plus software implementation projects at regional level.
  • Serves as Tier 1 Manager Plus support for the facilities team.
  • Coordinate with HFT management and vendor partners to support the needs of the Distribution Center;
  • Monitor, track and evaluate the work performance of vendors to ensure they perform according to the contract standards, due dates and cost restraints.
  • Take appropriate and timely action when vendors fail to meet their obligations.
  • Schedule and manage inspections and repairs for Distribution Center.
  • Coordinate vendor maintenance issues & follow up on the status of vendor jobs.
  • Interface with facilities/maintenance staff, vendors and others to ensure repairs are completed timely and accurately.
  • Support the development of key department processes.
  • Coordinate repair schedules.
  • Manage material handling equipment documentation including but not limited to repair and lease records.
  • Process department invoices for approval and payment.
  • Monitor and track facilities expenses for budgeting purposes
  • Provide administrative support to Sr. Facilities Manager as needed
  • Focuses on the details to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Can multi-task with good time management skills essential to meet deadlines.
  • Perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education (Required)
  • 2-year Associate degree (or professional training) in Business Administration, Information System, Engineering or related fields.
Skills (Required)
  • Self-directed individual able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and business conditions.
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships at all levels throughout an organization with an ability to influence and create alignment across multiple functional areas in order to drive change in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor

  • Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required
Skills (Preferred / Desired)
  • Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Experience (Required)
  • Experience in warehouse environment preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience working with enterprise software and an understanding of standard work process.
  • 3+ years' experience using Word, Excel, and Power Point, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities.
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical aptitude
Physical requirements
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for eight hours a day
  • Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, power grasping, pushing and pulling of materials and fine manipulation
  • Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level is frequently performed on a continuous basis for as many as five hours a day.
  • Must be able to drive automobiles, forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Must be comfortable with working cautiously with and around forklifts, conveyer systems and hazardous machinery.
  • Must utilize proper safety controls at all times
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 25lbs or less on a frequent basis throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing between 25 – 75lbs pounds on an intermittent basis throughout the work week
  • Must be comfortable with performing many of the tasks listed above from a ladder up to fifteen feet in elevation above floor surface observing safety controls.

The anticipated rate for this position is $24.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as early access to pay, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan.   Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
