Job Summary This position is responsible for leading and managing the proposal team that responds to RFPs for new business and current clients. This job requires leading, managing, mentoring, guiding, developing, and directing the members of this team and the delivery of high quality, accurate, timely, strategic proposals that produce new business sales and the retention of current clients out to bid. This job also requires that the Director complete RFPs and update content as needed.Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Employee Benefits, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English
- Minimum five years' previous experience working with RFPs/proposals
- Prior management or supervisor experience
- Ability to lead a successful team
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Quality focused
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent grammar, proofreading and editing skills
- Creative and technical writing skills
- Ability to work with graphics
- Ability to make informed decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build rapport with both internal and external customers
- Ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience with technical writing in a third-party benefit administration or insurance environment
- Experience working in RFP/proposal software
- Salesforce experience
- Qvidian software experience
- Adobe Professional software experience

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
Min to Max Range:
