Job Summary Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for collaborating with Solutions Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Infrastructure Service Management teams in the design and build of infrastructure solutions/blueprints for area of responsibility; participating in the design and build of repeatable patterns (build-kits) to improve deployment times for non-prod and prod environments; transitioning knowledge to Infrastructure Operations.
You will work with mid and upper level management team under minimal supervision, as a senior level of IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator, implement manage, and monitor multiple WebSphere MQ and messaging environments.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree and 5 years in Information Technology or relevant experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.

* Infrastructure Automation (such ansible tool preferred) 
* ITIL v3
* Drive cross functional execution
* Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change
* Teamwork and collaboration
* Organized and detail oriented
* Operations Management and IT standards, procedures, and policies 
* Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes
* Understanding of business priorities (e.g., vision), trends (e.g., industry knowledge) and markets (e.g., existing/ planned)

* Supplier management
* Ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions
* Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required; teamwork and collaboration
* Problem solving / analytical skills, tools and techniques with experience in troubleshooting MQ issues as well as other complex MQ and WebSphere performance
* Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MQ and its related components. 

Candidate will be a self-motivated individual who works well with groups and independently with minimal supervision to achieve stated goals and project tasks.

Candidate must have a high level of motivation in learning new technologies and software products and reviewing these technologies for enhancements to the current middleware environment.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree (Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees)

* Experts level knowledge of IBM MQ in design, installation, fixpack upgrade, migration, and configuration
* Experts level knowledge with MQ horizontal/vertical Clustering* Basic knowledge with container and IBM CP4I preferred
* Basic understanding of AIX/RedHat/Windows administration and including basic shell scripting

* Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change with ServiceNow and Jari

* Knowledge with Dynatrace 

* Ability to create long and short term plan and prioritize tasks and make trade-off decisions
* Ability to drive cross functional executions and manage project schedule
