Essential Duties:
- Provide Program Management when required, supporting quoting process, design, and supporting the ESS organization as the C2, Power/Trailer/ECU subject matter expert.
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct Market research and analyze customer needs by obtaining feedback on the use of the products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain.
- Effectively manages and increases the profitability of the entire product suite under charge.
- Analyzing market competition by comparing competitive products with our own.
- Sets clear product goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Addresses challenges and makes data and evidence -based decisions to enhance product performance.
- Lead in existing product line product improvements to ensure top quality
- Provide technical guidance to engineering Internal Research and Development (IR&D) for entire product portfolio.
- Leads the development and refinement of technical resources, policies, systems, analysis methods, and measure characterizations to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical information and services to marketing team, staff, and customers.
- Responsible for developing consumer and channel communication strategies for new product launch including overall management of content, value proposition and unified messaging throughout all datasheets, manuals, and presentations.
- Carry's out research to determine customer needs and expectations to develop new products based on feedback from end users and stakeholders.
- Generates business cases that drive product rationalization and sunset decisions, recommends product line extensions, and provides product enhancement roadmaps that align with customer roadmaps, acquisitions plans, and technology development roadmaps.
- Leads PLD participation in savings verification and technical quality assurance activities, including providing training, developing policies and procedures, and participating in periodic technical reviews.
- Responsible for producing business statistics among which are price points, product mix sales history, and competition for product introduction.
- Participates in and is supportive of cross-functional teams and other processes.
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
- BS in Business/Engineering, or 10 years or more practical hands-on experience in military grade (preferable) in Command and Control, Power Trailer and ECU design, manufacturing, and quality.
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Strong understanding of industry standards for materials and configurations to achieve customer satisfaction
- Experience and strong proficiency with detailed engineering structure mechanics, documentation of analysis procedures, development of analysis tools
- Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
- Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
