So, what will you do all day?  You would join us as a BIM Technician III working on things like....

  • Collaborates with project team leadership to develop the project-specific BIM implementation plan and strategy. Be responsible for the data deliverables of a project. This includes data integrity, data workflows and data driven asset management.
  • Utilizes Navisworks, Revit, BlueBeam, Dynamo, Rhino, Recap, among other BIM applications to implement established BIM process/workflows meeting defined data requirements. Develop data requirements as needed.
  • BIM collaboration workflow expert (clash resolution, constructability review, point clouds, data management).
  • Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors.
  • Early design review and constructability analysis.
  • 3D Model Quantity Extraction/Verification.
  • Coordinates the creation of project-specific Revit content.
  • Leads and coordinates the interdisciplinary clash detection effort. Assist with Navisworks models (set-up, combine, manage, clash detection/resolution, visual walkthroughs, simulation).
  • Directs the efforts of other BIM technicians, as needed.
  • Performs BIM QC for projects outside of coordination responsibilities.
  • Leads client coordination for BIM planning, standards, process.
  • Coordinates BIM file exchanges with external team members.
  • Coordinates the development process for new automation for BIM/VDC software, including requirements gathering, programming, testing, deploying, troubleshooting and gathering feedback from end users.
  • Provides documentation, training, maintenance and support for automation as required.
  • Assists internal users with computer software and hardware problems.
  • Maintains and updates AutoCAD & Revit standards, details and specifications as directed.
  • Provides BIM support and assists with in-house mentoring and training.
  • Responds to and initiates inquiries, explains policies, answers questions and independently resolves problems whenever feasible.

  • Technical degree (2-year) in Computer Aided Drafting, computers, design technology or related area required.
  • Bachelor's degree in in Building Science, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Building Information Modeling certification required.
  • 8+/- years' related experience required.
  • Practical experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection or Electrical fields required.
  • On the job experience utilizing BIM to produce drawings required
  • Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD proficiency required.
  • Proficient in OneNote, Microsoft Office, Software, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Requires a broad understanding of Henderson operations and organizational procedures.
  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of disciplines connected with the successful completion of projects.
  • Experience with parametric and computational engineering tools (e.g. Rhino - Grasshopper, Dynamo).
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or C# preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
  • Industry BIM knowledge and interest in working with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technology.
  • Ability to lift, carry and hold up to 25lbs.
