Description

Full-time entry-level Business Systems Specialists I (Reporting and Analysis) enjoy the following:

  • Starting wage of $18.50 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
  • Monday through Friday work week
  • In-Office hours of 8-5 every day
As a growing company, this position offers room for growth and a hand in companywide creations. Business Systems Specialists I both collaborate and serve the Buying and Executive Departments and also work closely with the IT Department to build a bridge between company programming, system applications, and data that provides Hobby Lobby's internal customers and vendors with the tools needed to be successful.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of buyers and collaborate with team members to find innovative solutions.
  • Act as the Buying Team's liaison with the Information Systems department and outside vendors for system related issues and new system development.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to different teams across the company.
  • Extract, process, and display data from a variety of sources.
  • Test and validate data being used in reporting.
  • Research, analyze, adapt, and troubleshoot software to enhance internal systems in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Document findings, workflows, and ideas.


Requirements

  • Microsoft Office experience with the following programs:
    • Microsoft Excel abilities matching the description found at the Excel Website
    • Microsoft Word experience mirroring the description at the Word Website 
    • Microsoft Outlook skillset in keeping with the description found here Outlook Website
  • Problem solver
  • Analytical thinker
  • Ability to multitask and pivot between projects as needed.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
It's a Plus
  • Experience in working with SQL
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
Education & Experience
  • Combination of 2 + years' work experience or education in related field
