Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.# Our Imaging Team is seeking an experienced individual to perform and supervise CT imaging procedures. This working supervisor will organize and coordinate the daily workflow of the department to maximize department productivity, and will foster working relationships with department staff and other hospital departments.# Additional duties include: Assists in over site of regulatory DPH, DNV, FDA, requirements pertaining to CT. Collaborates with#IR Supervisor, IR nurses, and Radiologists to ensure staffing, exam protocols, patient care processes and image quality are optimized. Ensures proper stock of supplies, including linen, and other med/surg supplies needed to support CT operations. Maintains efficiency in the stockroom. Provides immediate supervision and assigns work, evaluates technologist performance and ensures ongoing training Approves time off requests and monitors attendance and tardiness. Functions as a liaison between physicians, nurses, technologists and support staff. Explains department procedures, resolves problems and coordinates activities which affect day-to-day patient care. Maintains policies and procedures. Holds regular monthly staff meetings, and participates in other department meetings and team huddles. Works with community providers and specialists to establish new business. #JOB REQUIREMENTS:# Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology# Bachelor#s degree preferred Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Radiologic Technologist Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Advanced certification in CT required At least two years of CT experience# Two years of supervisory experience;#computer proficiency Applicants also must have: A passion for caring about a community through quality work A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
