General Objective:
As an Agricultural Management Trainee, you will learn the overall agriculture operation through work rotation throughout the Operations Department. This role aims to provide you with the knowledge and competency in logistics processes required to become an Agriculture Supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Train in the logistics of Hawaii pineapple operations, including land preparation, planting, irrigation, spray, harvesting, packing, shipping, and agricultural engineering.
- Learn the documentation process of chemical compliance in accordance with workers' protection standards.
- Understand the incentive pay program for planting and spray operations.
- Participate in agricultural cost control programs to ensure budget goals are achieved.
- Apply agricultural best practices by adhering to written procedures via the Agricultural Practices Manual.
- Aid, in conjunction with the direct supervisor, in the development of safety programs to reduce accidents and conduct regular operations safety meetings.
- Prepare for the Certified Pesticide Applicators License, including fumigation and chemigation, under the guidance of the supervisor. Certification must be achieved.
- Assist the Agricultural Manager with upgrades and documentation of agricultural practices.
- Perform special research and development projects as assigned.

 Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Database maintenance: Update tracking of all tasks related to land preparation and irrigation.
- Accomplish the schedule for leaf and soil analysis.
- Implement field surveys following Integrated Pest Management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
 -Bachelor's degree in agricultural discipline
- Experience:  0-5 years
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
