  • Pay Rate: $36.88 per hour 
  • Location: Savannah, GA
  • Schedule: 5:15 am to 3:45 pm
What a typical day as an Aircraft Technician might look like: 
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft according to FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Utilize a variety of tools, equipment, and technical manuals to perform maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls, component replacements, and system testing
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: 
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an FAA-approved aircraft maintenance technician program or equivalent training preferred
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or military aviation environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft issues using various tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with colleagues and documenting maintenance activities
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and willingness to travel as needed for on-site repairs or inspections.
