Full time direct opportunity in Kenosha, WI for a Degreed Engineer with 2-3 years of technical experience (Process and/or Manufacturing)
Some knowledge with Technical Writing

$75,000 - 85,000k

This position is responsible for accurately targeting and defining the product design requirements and specifications and developing designs to meet customer and internal production needs. The AE will be responsible for preparing budgetary and firm costing for all projects located in his/her defined market segments. The AE will also provide technical support to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sizing and developing cost-effective process solutions to meet customer needs
  • Preparing technical bids and proposals associated with products in the company portfolio
  • Participating in design and process risk reviews for proposed solutions
  • Communicating with Regional Sales Managers, Technical Sales Managers, Reps, and customers
  • Ensuring all designs are in conformance with contract specifications & drawings
  • Developing competitive intelligence, installation/reference lists/ specifications/proposal templates/design spreadsheets
  • Writing up orders; clearly identifying what was sold, and resolving conflicts between proposal and P.O. regarding price, scope, and delivery schedule
  • Seeking vendor quotes to build competitive and accurate project budgets
  • Develop project Kickoff packages and turnover project documentation for the execution team
  • Analyzing completed project costing data from an ERP/Job Management Software to establish future project estimates

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Chemical/Environmental); Master's degree is preferred
2-3 years of experience as an Applications Engineer
Process Engineering background
Strong technical writing and verbal skills
Ability to review AutoCAD including PID/PFD drawings
Proficient in MS Office
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
