Pay Rate: $21/hr
Schedule: M-F First Shift
Seven month assignment 

Overview
This client is an industry-leading consumer health company known for leading the way in consumer health and personal care products. In this role, you'll be working with cross-functional teams to use physical and chemical testing to ensure the quality of products. This role will give you an opportunity to gain industry experience while bringing new therapies to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide input to laboratory investigations including root cause analysis
• Participate in compliance-related projects including method verification/validation, method transfer and equipment qualification
• Identify continuous improvement projects within the laboratory
• Support basic lab and audit-readiness activities such as housekeeping, GMP duties, solution preparation and sample management
• Basic wet chemistry and physical testing
• Responsible for following all departmental safety and hygiene policies including GMP compliance, eye protection, approved footwear and use of all required personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of Bachelor of Science degree is required, with a high preference in Chemistry or a similar field
• Experience with standard analytical techniques including dissolution, HPLC, UPLC, UV-VIS and FTIR spectroscopy and wet/bench chemistry
• Experience with laboratory software systems such as LIMS, Empower3 and LabWare is preferred
• Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), USP pharmacopoeia testing and strong attention to detail is helpful
