• Payrate: $25/hr.
• Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6am to 6pm

What's a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You'll be:
• Loading and unloading raw materials
• Proficiently using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Reducing set up time and machining time through process improvements
• Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers, etc.
• Cleaning and performing daily/preventative maintenance of company equipment
• Assisting in the organization and maintenance of the Machine Shop work environment
• Utilizing and abiding by AS9100 requirements and safety procedures
• Providing feedback and input for process improvement
• Training newer employees/co-workers on manufacturing processes and procedures
• Performing geometry, tool wear offsets, and program edits
• Complying with all quality policies and instructions
• Tracking/recording job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 3-5 years of CNC Lathe experience
• Are proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings
• Have a proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring tools
• Have proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code
• Have the ability to turn on, set up, and operate lathes with minimal assistance
• Are self-sufficient and able to perform mathematical calculations
• Can sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Have keen attention to detail and quality
• Are able to bend, stoop, and reach
• Can lift 30 lbs
• Are available for 3-day 12-hour weekend shifts (Friday - Sunday, 6am to 6pm)
