Kelly Services is partnering with a prestigious University in Cleveland, Ohio and we have an immediate short-term opening for an experienced Contract & Change Order Administrator.
Wage: $19.50/hr
Schedule: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
Location: Cleveland, Ohio 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contract & Change Order Administrator to join our construction and facilities departments. As the Contract & Change Order Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing contracts and change orders using our templates in the AIA software program. You will review bids and change order backup for accuracy, ensuring that all contracts are issued in a timely manner and that the university remains in compliance with all contracts. Proficiency in Word, Adobe, Excel, and Google Documents is required for this position.
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all contracts for American Institute of Architects (AIA) contracts related to campus construction projects totaling 10K-50M+.
  • Manage third-party contract business operations for service/maintenance contracts and contractor trade performance/pricing contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by project managers both internally and externally.
  • Monitor systems and controls periodically to ensure projects operate within available funds and that documentation procedures are in place.
  • Oversee projects in progress, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with decision-making individuals to find solutions to issues.
  • Maintain project updates as required.
  • Oversee document integrity for all University design and construction project records and documents.
  • Coordinate communications and internal records programs to ensure consistency and relevancy.
  • Prepare various analytical reports in written and graphic forms based on management needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in contract administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AIA software program and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe, Google Documents).
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the design and construction process.
