Position Overview:
Currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Credit and Collections Specialist to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive relationships with valued customers. Position Details:
Location: Seneca Falls, NY
Full-time Position: 8-5PM
Competitive Compensation: $18-20/hr, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable: Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Credit Assessment: Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Collections: Contact customers to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze aging reports, identify trends, and recommend strategies for improving collection processes.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, sales teams, and other departments to facilitate efficient credit and collections processes.

Qualifications:
Experience: 1 or more years of experience in credit and collections or related field.
Knowledge: Familiarity with credit risk assessment, collections techniques, and relevant regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.

Kelly has an Immediate Need for Credit/Collections Rep in Seneca Falls, NY
$18.00-20.00 Per Hour
Monday through Friday- 8:00am 5:00pm

Associates in Business with minimum two years credit/collection experience is preferred, candidates without an Associates should have five years credit/collection experience.
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Managing day to day collection activities for your assigned region to improve the overall account delinquencies.
• Calling customers, taking incoming calls, arranging for payments and working with account reconciliation
• Negotiating, resolving customer account inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
