The Dispatch Planner at LSP Transport, LLC, (LSPT) determines and plans efficient loads, dispatches company drivers for loads, and works with terminal operations, customer service, drivers, production, safety, and shop personnel to ensure uninterrupted delivery of product to customer sites.
looking for an individual that has a minimum of two years dispatching and route planning experience with Omnitracs. The successful candidate may be asked to assist with the implementation of Omnitracs software and in training new users as we transition to Omnitracs Fleet Management system.
Monitor daily operations, product levels, and potential for surges by working with customer service, drivers, sales, and customers. Ensure service level targets are met and resolve inventory issues
Plan dispatch to deliver product and equipment in timely and efficient manner meeting customer requirements. Modify dispatch per needs and weather conditions.
Work directly with drivers for dispatch and planning. Coach and counsel drivers on delivery situations and concerns¿ Work with Maintenance Manager to route equipment to shop for preventative maintenance
Work with Terminal Manager and LSPI personnel to address customer issues or complaints
Work with Field Service Representatives (FSR) to resolve skid site issues
Enter delivery tickets and tank levels into spreadsheets
Manage daily email communication
Complete all necessary records and reports accurately and in a timely manner
Analyze supply using available data
