Description

Kelly Services, a global staffing and solutions provider of specialty talent, is currently recruiting for a Fugitive Emission and Waste Coordinator.

This role is a long-term contract with no end date, and does provide benefits (medical, vacation, etc…) in addition to the hourly pay.


Responsibilities:

  • Waste profiling for disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous waste. (RCRA and DOT understanding is helpful).
  • Input into Electronic Waste tool for proper assessment and approvals.
  • Printing of labels for plants to properly dispose of Waste.
  • Understanding of Waste flows within the Plant from 3rd party disposal, Kiln, to landfill disposal.
  • Work with the plants for Turn Around waste disposal.
  • Work with Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel.
  • Create Management of change requests as needed.
  • Update Waste Tracking sheets for each plant.
  • Ensure timely repairs and re-monitoring of leaking components detected by routine monitoring or AVO inspections.
  • Update, monitor, and keep track of electronic LDAR tool for production facility LDAR/ELP MOCs and “Like for Like” changes on a regular basis to ensure all deadlines are being met and plants remains in regulatory compliance.
  •  Assist the facility with management of Out-of-Service components.
  •  Assist site and facilities with Delay of Repair documentation and repair planning.
  • Assist the facility and the fugitive emissions contractor with maintenance, turnaround planning, and scheduling of routine monitoring activities to ensure continued regulatory compliance.
  • Assist the Facility, EH&S, and the fugitive emissions contractor with prompt reporting of any leaks and repair attempts using the Fugitive Leak Communication Tool.
  •  Assist the Facility, EH&S, and the fugitive emissions contractor with all aspects of the MOC process.
  •  Assist with the implementation of Site LDAR/ELP policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with the goals and direction of the Site EH&S organization.

Qualifications:
AS or BS in Science, Safety or Engineering discipline is desired, but manufacturing or safety work experience is also sufficient.
Relevant work experience working in Environmental Health and Safety, a laboratory, or a manufacturing facility is preferred.
