ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform month-end GL closing activities, including but not limited to Prepaid postings, depreciation and GL reconciliation Manage the maintaining of fixed asset schedule and depreciation.
  • Manage the accuracy of Intercompany movements.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Assist with the implementation, and roll-out of GL related transactions for Infor M3
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS and Irca's standards & best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Five years related accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience and training
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Technical accounting skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies.
  • Intermediate Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience with SAP, Sage or Infor M3 accounting and finance transactions preferred.
  • Position will be required to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
