Pay: $25-$30/hr
Schedule: 9/80 schedule, start time between 7:30am-9am
Position Type: Temporary (~6 months)
Start Date: 5/20/24

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Handles recruitment for temporary positions.
  • Manages pre-employment screenings, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding employee benefits, leave requests, and reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Supports monitoring employee relations as needed.
  • Supports in motivating managers/supervisors to ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees.
  • Handles Unanet requests such as creating new accounts, running reports, and adding job codes.
  • Assists with development and maintenance of "confidential" employee records.
  • Manages HR metrics and reporting for the site such as headcount, terminations, OSHA, work anniversaries…etc.
  • Works with Corporate HR on maintaining accurate information within HRIS.
  • Assists with company events; Veterans Day recognition ceremony, Holiday party, Employee appreciation summer picnic and other events as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, staying up to date on any recent changes.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (1 or more years)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law, and relevant administration practices.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems highly desirable but not required.
