Description

Kelly Services is currently hiring an IT Assistant to work for a Fortune 50 Aerospace and Defense company in Norton Shores, Michigan.  This position will assist the IT Manager and DXC Support Tech with tasks related to updating and replacing equipment and software.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • $21.00 per hour 

Shift:

  • 1st shift - Monday thru Friday - 8am-5pm
As an IT Assistant your responsibilities include:
  • Hardware setup – Replace monitors, keyboards, docks, scanners and other computer peripherals.
  • Business Cell Phone Setup and updates for all PWCS managed cell phones.
  • Printer set-up, troubleshooting printer connectivity/operational issues. Includes ordering and replacing consumable supplies.
  • Software Patch Deployment – Assist users with automated patch/updates by troubleshooting until completion.
  • Assist with various IT projects, as required. (Network, Server, VOIP, Disaster Response Testing, Wi-Fi, Office Conversion, etc.).
  • Create Workbooks for high demand support issues (cell phones, add printers, etc.).
  • Create/Maintain Equipment and User Inventory Lists.
  • Act as liaison between local users and corporate help desks, submit help desk tickets and follow-up on resolution. 
  • Act as Super User and participate as a local beta tester for ongoing projects. 
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by KellyOCG Management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, printers and cell phone OS.
  • Motivated team player and problem solver. 
  • Must have the ability to work independently and complete tasks/project deadlines timely.
  • Must be highly organized and demonstrate sense of urgency. 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite is required. 
  • High school diploma is required.
