Pay Rate: $40-55/hour.
Workplace: Hybrid in Portland, OR
Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for executing product development processes and managing cross-functional, multi-channel projects which will require the ability to think strategically and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities

  • Create timelines and manage on-time execution of projects for all new product launches including new items, line extensions, channel expansion.
  • Lead and manage internal and external cross-functional teams to deliver food, packaging, supply chain solutions for new product and packaging related projects.
  • Manage and execute the innovation stage gate process.
  • Effectively manage projects to fit stakeholder and customer demands while identifying potential issues to ensure new initiatives are delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Learn from previous projects to identify and recommend improvements, cost saving initiatives, and substitutions to positively impact current and future programs.
  • Raises awareness of key barriers and enablers, ensuring alignment and a clear path forward.
  • Functions as the subject matter expert on launch program management with opportunity to educate, build, and expand the function.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
  • Complies with Bob's Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to?FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).?
  • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.?
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.?
Qualifications
  • Ability to drive projects through completion in a fast-paced environment. Proven project management skills.
  • Ability to translate strategy into processes or projects.
  • Strong project management skills and prioritization.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Possess strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates Respect, Teamwork, Accountability, and Determination.
  • Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is or may be present.?
  • Three or more years of innovation experience
  • Two or more years of project management experience
  • Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
