Compensation: $15/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2nd or 3rd shift
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

What's a typical day as a Machine Operator? You'll be:
• Operating and maintaining flatbed knitting machines, including set-up, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance.
• Ensuring all parts meet quality standards by understanding and following specifications.
• Collaborating with the Socks Production Lead and R&D Design Manager to resolve quality issues and make on-the-fly changes on the machine.
• Loading and changing programs on machines as scheduled to meet production needs.
• Assisting with R&D projects as needed.
• Acting as a backup for the Production Lead, including scheduling and identifying order needs.
• Training and developing new employees on flatbed operations.
• Completing inventory of finished goods and raw materials.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Washing and drying knitted socks.
• Participating in annual inventory as needed.
• Handling other projects and duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have previous experience of machine operation.
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
• Are able to work closely with a team to resolve quality issues and make on-the-fly changes.
• Have the ability to load and change programs on machines.
• Are willing to assist with R&D projects and act as a backup for the Production Lead.
• Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Are able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have the ability to train and develop new employees.
• Are comfortable with completing inventory and keeping work areas clean.
• Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
