This is a temporary assignment (6 Months)

Talent MUST have the following criteria:
- Operate Mazak lathes and Mazatrol programming
- Ability to read Geometric  Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T)
- CNC Mill and Lathe experience
- Read/Run G-code and/or Mazatrol

Shift/Schedule:
1st 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$27.00 - $29.00 p/h (OT will be considered)

What's a typical day as a Machinist? You'll be:

• Reading and interpreting documents such as Drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and working structures.
• Reviewing and studying drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Possible forklift or crane usage
• Applying working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
• Conducting inspection, start up and continuous observations during machining to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required, or as directed by the manufacturing engineer. Operate CNC Mills and lathes safely.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Have prior experience as a machinist and CNC Operator
• Have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Have the ability to multi-task effectively
• Have the ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and electronically
• Have knowledge of tools, equipment, and inventory management
• Have the ability to use electronic handheld devices and basic computer skills
• Have the ability to read documents and write neatly, legibly and transcribe accurate information and numbers/values
