Description

Job Title: Software Engineer II

Pay rate: $70 - $78 per hour

Duration: Until 12/31/2024

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Cary, NC, 27518

Responsibilities

  • Attend & participate in daily stand-ups for Agile planning
  • Reviewing code (maintenance mode)
    • Current state: features are already ‘done'
  • Converting web API's from Node.js to .NET
  • Assisting other teams with .Net projects

Required Skills

  • Candidates must be able to work EST/EDT hours
  • 8+ years of experience with .NET Core 3+ (.NET 5+ is preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with TypeScript 3+ (TypeScript 5+ is preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing web-based or cloud native applications using a statically typed language, such as TypeScript, Go, Rust, or C#
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure/DevOps
  • 2+ years of experience with Entity Framework
  • 5+ years of experience with Linq
  • 2+ years of experience writing Unit Tests
  • Strong understanding of Sync/Async processing
  • Strong understanding of HTTP and REST/web APIs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Node.js and Node frameworks (NestJS, Express, Koa)
  • GraphQL
  • Experience with real-time streaming communications (VoIP or WebRTC) protocols such as SIP, SDP, SRTP, etc.
  • Experience working with containerized applications (e.g., Docker)
  • Building applications in a cloud native environment (Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Working with containerized application orchestration (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes)
