Operator Assembler - Entry Level
Location: Holly, MI
Shift: Second shift,  3:30pm – 11:30pm
Compensation: $16 /hour
Temp to Hire
 
The Assembler will assemble various components and accessories according to standardized work instructions. The role requires the ability to balance effective utilization of quality workmanship methods with the ability to meet production schedules, including product quantity goals, to achieve manufacturing goals.
 
Responsibilities:
 

  • Requires basic math skills and knowledge of measuring devices.
  • Good manual dexterity is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions.
  • Verify product quality based on work instructions and quality check list and follow standard process for reporting defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Examine parts or observe movement of completed assemblies to detect any deficiencies.
  • Attention to detail
  • Perform all other as assigned.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Regularly required: Standing/Walking 100%.
  • Regularly Required: repetitive movement of hands and fingers
  • An Employee is required to lift 1 to 10 pounds constantly
  • An employee may be required to lift 10 to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Employee may lift up to 50 pounds on rare occasions.
  • An employee may be required to twist at the waist.
  • High School Diploma
  • Preform house-keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate both verbally and written with coworkers and management.
  • A self-starter with good organizational skills and analytical skills.
 
Preferred:
 
  • 1-2 years electronics manufacturing experience
  • 1-2 years in a role that required great attention to detail and handling of small components
