 We're seeking a Patient Assistant Counselor to work at one of the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical companies! With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right.

Pay Rate:

  • The pay rate for this position ranges from $25-29 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:
  • 10am-7pm CST Monday-Friday.
  • TRAINING schedule is 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday (just for the first 6-10 weeks).

What's a typical day as a Patient Assistant Counselor? You'll be:
  • Supporting patients who are uninsured, underinsured, who have limited benefit coverage, or who have high out-of-pocket prescription costs/medical expenses.
  • Identify patients who may qualify for the Patient Assistance Program and provide information on benefits offered by the program.
  • Coordinate and review all application documents and conduct insurance investigations.
  • Assess patient's financial information and provide an outcome status to patients and healthcare professionals.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in commercial and government pharmacy and medical insurance programs.
  • Experience in medical billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Prior authorization experience, appeal filings, and specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Have access to a secure and private location for daily work and a fast and secure internet connection.
