Quality Control Inspector (Non-Science) - Quality Assurance Technician
8:30pm-6:30am M-F
$23/hr

Job Summary:
Join our team at a leading food manufacturing company in Redmond, WA as a Quality Assurance Technician (non science).

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire
- Company: Leading food manufacturing company
- Location: Redmond, WA
- Pay Rate: $23 per hour
- Shift: Night (8:30 pm - 6:30 am)


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform on-line quality and sanitary checks for fry line Line 1 operations
- Evaluate finished product quality grading and conduct physical and/or chemical analyses of finished fry line Line 1 product
- Collect data and accurately report and record test results, including daily report distribution, holds, and data entry into the Infinity data system
- Apply HACCP compliance and measurement to all job duties
- Initiate corrective actions for any deviations noted during processing
- Participate in and successfully complete training in quality control procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-6 months of experience working in a food manufacturing environment or fast-paced environment preferred
- Basic math skills and familiarity with using a calculator
- Proficiency in computers and database systems, with the ability to perform basic data entry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interact successfully with personnel in the Production Department regarding food safety and quality issues
- Familiarity with the basic principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) approach to food safety
- Ability to work in a potentially loud, wet environment and handle raw seafood products
