Kelly® is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to work at a premier refrigeration equipment company in Conyers, GA. This direct hire position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually. The Refrigeration Technician will play a vital role in supporting customer refrigeration equipment remodel requirements. Acting as a project coordinator, this position will oversee customer remodel accounts from the quoting stage through to installation. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of refrigeration systems and components, coupled with excellent customer service and project management skills.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Utilize working knowledge of refrigeration systems and components, including the refrigeration cycle.
  • Collaborate with consulting engineers, customers, and outside sales to determine project requirements and specifications.
  • Generate refrigeration legends sheets and specifications using proprietary software.
  • Select appropriate compressors, condensers, evaporators, controls, and accessories to meet project requirements.
  • Calculate accurate quotations based on project specifications.
  • Receive and process orders for manufacturing.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth project processing, including finance, materials group, production engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues post-installation.
  • Work closely with the shipping department to address any related issues.
  • Provide support to customers regarding remodel requirements, suggesting new equipment or field modifications to meet demands.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) at an advanced beginner to intermediate level.
  • Demonstrate independence, dependability, and flexibility in managing workload.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in refrigeration systems and components required.
  • Knowledge of all major components of a refrigeration system.
  • Knowledge of high & low pressure condensers, usage and placements. 
  • Knowledge of refrigerant changes passing thru the condensers. 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated independence and dependability.
